Wendy Sears is a Nationally Certified Counselor and holds a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. Before joining Crossroads Counseling Ministries, she has worked as an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist, School Counselor (K-12), Mental Health Consultant, and a Family Therapist in a residential setting for adolescent offenders.

 

Wendy earned her B.S. in Psychology from Central Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Community and Agency Counseling from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She has served on numerous advisory boards and worked closely with rape crisis centers and domestic violence shelters.

 

Wendy’s varied experience includes outpatient, residential, correctional, school, and probation/parole settings.

 

Wendy has expertise in a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar, anger management, sexual assault, sexual offending, family issues, addictions, identity issues, substance abuse, and adjustment issues.
